Green Policy
We believe in working with nature to minimise our impact on the environment, we care for the land we use for all to enjoy.
Our buildings are equipped with low energy lighting and the shower blocks are highly automated to minimise energy usage and equipped with a "state of the art" solar powered under floor heating system. A 24/7 UV light air cleaning unit has been installed in each shower block room for COVID safety.
We have many wild areas on the park to encourage bees, butterflies, squirrels, birds and hedgehogs. We are not a clipped, sterile park, planting and wild areas are managed in accordance with the David Bellamy Award Scheme advisor. However, feeding of wildlife is not encouraged as it attracts the wrong sort of wildlife.
Clear Skies!
Park lighting is minimal, resulting in dark skies. Bring a pair of binoculars or a telescope for some glorious stargazing - Clouds permitting!
In order to foster a relaxed atmosphere we have a policy of quiet after 11pm and we encourage our customers to walk whilst in the park grounds. We also ask our customers to be aware of the sound levels of televisions, etc. so as not to cause nuisance to adjacent units. Consequently in-car entertainment systems are not to be used.
Cars
Please be aware of your speed and drive at a pottering 5mph.
