Nature
Environment
The park extends to 14 acres and lies within an area of outstanding natural beauty close to the coast of the Menai Strait. Trees and wild flowers are in abundance and provide an ideal habitat for wildlife.
Working with nature
We aim to work with nature and to minimise our impact on the environment.
We have re-cycling facilities for glass, metal and cans, newspapers and magazines, cardboard.
We actively support the RSPB, North Wales Wildlife Trust and the Anglesey Red Squirrel Project
Hedgerows are cut only once a year and field borders are left to develop their cycle of growth. For those interested in nature, we have recorded 65 species of birds, 85 wild flowers and 15 species of butterfly.
Red squirrels visit our wooded area on occasions.
Please do not leave food out for birds or squirrels (this attracts the wrong sort of wildlife)
